Led by the slogan "Recycle or Die!" Bára Hólmgeirsdóttir's Reykjavik-based label Aftur has been recycling used clothing to recreate new fashion for nine years, gaining a following with popular Icelandic musicians like Bjork and Emilíana Torrini, among others. Aftur pieces are one-of-a-kind, bold, and individual. For Project White T-Shirt, Aftur maintained their environmentally-friendly concept and Bára used her favorite recycled pattern to reconstruct an asymmetrical white t-shirt.
