Andrea Crews represents a small part of the Paris underground fashion scene that dances on the outskirts of mainstream fashion. The label celebrates individuality and ethics at the same time; each piece is loud, individual, and transformed from second-hand clothing to minimalize environmental impact. Andrea Crews's designs might seem like an oddity sprouting up in Paris, but perhaps there is something to be said in the fact that the label responsible for models crowd-surfing for the first time in Paris Fashion Week's history was born in the fashion capital of serious designer couture. For the project, Andrea Crews designed a "double tee" by joining two t-shirts and repositioning the neck and sleeves to give the standard white t-shirt a new form and structure.
