"manifeste, avant-garde luxury brand, revisits our everyday lives, creating iconic timeless essentials. Focusing on a close relationship with artists & designers, Alexandre Daval, founder of manifesteTM, develops this project with Cyril Talon for his multi-disciplinary approach. For us, white tee-shirt is the most commonly available, affordable, universal piece of garment, a simple but accomplished shape with no specific designer behind it. Besides, white tee-shirt is a fully customizable item, as a blank page is. Furthermore, white tee-shirt is a standard form, a paradigm by itself. This art piece is our most radical proposal, that proposes a new format of canvas, following the path initiated by great artists such as Malevitch with "White on White", Duchamp with his "readymade" series and Le Corbusier’s works on the notion of standards." - Alexandre Daval, founder
