Designer Annika Berger formally studied engineering and graphic design, but her knack for signature contrast prints and oversized designs have earned her a lot of attention in the fashion industry. This year Swedish design museum Röhsska invited Skyward to curate their annual fashion event, a project that Annika, fashion designer Titti Andersson, and accessory designer Hanna Af Ekstrom, collaborated on to pay homage to the spirit of Göteborg. For Project White T-Shirt, they continued to explore the incorporation of their city's elements in their design. Keeping in mind Göteborg as a port city of Sweden's west coast, they wrapped white ropes into a t-shirt structure to reference the ubiquitous ropes in the city. In this way, Hanna also makes a personal reference to her brothers and fathers, who are both sailors.
